    Hi, guys/gals...

Anyone in the know about which model to get? the ups and downs of each model?

Probably looking at a JAP model as they seem to be the cheapest/cleanest. Is the RGB mod worth it?

Id probably get an evercart and RGB composite for my CRT. or are there better options?

Does Mister core support CD now?

I have the original white PC engine paired with the latest revision SSDS3 and it works well. Gives CD support and RGB out which the evercart does not. Be prepared to open your wallet right up however.

Not yet, but it's being worked on. Regular PCEngine games work extremely well.

I've got a PC Engine Core (smaller unit) and a handful of games. I believe there's a simple cable to offer RGB (with relevant cap/resistor combos) available, but I've not bothered since I've got a MiSTer now.
