So it was bound to happen, no one can escape the O11 for too long. After scoring an Snow edition O11 mini brand-new second hand for $60 in my regional town (Was very surprised, the PC parts market is usually dead in my area), i thought i might give a WC build a go and try and do some case-mods to make it less of a copy-cat.

My parts as current: I7 10700KF (5.2 capable according to previous owner), Z590 Aorus Ultra ATX, RTX 2080ti FE (repurposed from my T1 after i got a 3080ti FE), 32GB 3000C15 Corsair Doms, NVME + SATA storage, SF750 w/ ?custom cables, TX360 + Corsair XR5 360 rad, FLT120 DDC.

I wanted to try mocking up the build in sketchup (passing time) and thought it turned out pretty cool. This is purely for design and is definitely not proportional! Im going for a white outer, black inner with ?white coolant? Maybe ice blue with spray painted fittings. Not 100% sure yet. I have got a 1.2mm aluminum sheet cutout to form a panel blocking the side radiator, from which, pass through fittings to a hidden FLT120/DDC will be. I think i might try and incorporate a temperature sensor panel into the aluminum frame. Lots to be decided as i wait for more parts to arrive! The bends are a lot harsher in the render just because im new to sketchup, but they will have a combo of fittings - 90-45 deg bends with 14mm OD acrylic tubing.

Keen to hear your ideas, my main goal is to make a novel-ish O11 mini!

Hey mate, great project and looking forward to seeing how it goes as not dissimilar to mine.
One thing to be aware of, going from your sketches, you won't have room for the top 360 Rad and fans using an ATX mobo without working out how to mount the rad way off to the side against the glass. When I looked a this, there was nowhere to put your screws so might need some angled brackets or similar to make it work. If you plan on using the vertical GPU riser, there will be room at the bottom location for 360 Rad and fans though.

Hey! Yes, that definitely did cross my mind. I was trying to see if i could offset it by a few mm with a bracket but still figuring that out! Ideally would like to stick with ATX but could look into ITX combinations but that would likely interfere with the bottom rad (I believe)...

Not if you're prepared to mod the vert GPU back panel. There are pictures in my build log [Here] on what i've done so far. Just waiting on parts to arrive now.

Even with offsetting the rad at the top you still wont be able to do unless you go for low profile ram on an ATX board. I run a slim 360 rad on the bottom with the QL fans to give me like 10mm clearance with the vertical bracket.

Good thought - I hadn't considered RAM height. Fortunately, i am using a TX360, 20mm thickness with slim fans for the top. Even with a ~1mm offset bracket it appears to clear the tops of my corsair doms. (phew)

Im not too concerned about running 2x 360mm slim radiators, i think it will be sufficient cooling for a 2080ti / 10700KF, especially since i am planning on undervolting.

Not going to lie - i am a little triggered by these ports not lining up! Build otherwise progressing as slowly as can be.

Progress. Have had to chanhe design because the 45ish degree bends just wasnt working at CPU In/out with the Ram being so tall. Angles were just too off, so decided for another route.

Dremel here, dremel there, dremel everywhere and voilĂ , my back panel sits in nicely. Few more holes to drill around but overall am happy with my first modding attempt!

Pretty stoked with how the panel came out. So far so good. Time to start pulling it all together now that all the mods are completed!

FLT120 & pass through fittings in - seems sturdy enough! Also elses work areas just seem to endlessly expand throughout a project? Amazed i can even find a screw in this mess

Its all coming up millhouse! A few more bends for the front and then will start work on behind the panel. Need to learn how to take some decent pictures!
