Just cleaning out my PC room and found this price list.

It's funny to see what prices were like only 9 years ago and in comparison we have it pretty good on some items now.
HDD's, Video cards, CD writers for eg are much cheaper now.

It's been mentioned quite a bit around the forum, how much things were, but now we have an actual price list.

I thought some people might be interested to see it.

Thanks Agg, I'll have to have a read of that.

I just found it interesting to see what we had to pay back then.
It seems we get much better value these days on some items.

EDIT: Just read it quickly. If you want, you can add this one to that page if it's clear enough. If not, I can make a better copy.

Nice find, 2001 was well before I even knew what was going on with computers.

Kind of funny to see that the $$$ that got you a 10GB HD back then can get you a 2TB HD now. :p

P4 1.7 really looks like a bargain at $1k when you consider there's 128MB RAM thrown in

Power supplies are the point of interest... Do modern power supplies differ that much from the $20 available 10 years ago?
