That's bullshit. I've dealt with them numerous times directly...

Try emailing. You might have better luck.

What Munki said; send them an email though their "contact us" form. I've had them price match, or reduce the price to close to grey, for a number of Sigma lenses now, and every time, I've contacted them though email.

Note that on the sigma.au website, they even say:
The CR Kennedy website also used to have the above written in their Parallel and Grey Imports section, but they seem to have updated their website and removed the statement on price matching.

My fantastic K-5iis and I are gloriously sick :)

surprised some people not impressed by CRK.
This side of the ditch the Pentax agent makes them look good.
We have been hoping CRK would take over the franchise for years.
My dealings with them have been very good both in sales and service.

Could the long suffering Pentax owners finally be getting that 24x36 dSLR that many have been asking for?

It will still have to be very good. I don't think a mediocre FF will suffice at this stage. Plus the K3 is so good that the lower spec canikon FF are not nearly better enough to warrant it. I at least want the 36mp Sony sensor in it as a start. This will fill the gap nicely between K3 and 645Z.

Jeeze Mate we'd have them over here.
NZ pentax agent makes them look really good.
My experience with CRK ( repairs ) including shipping to NZ was economical and timely with good communication.

Fffff...I knew there was a reason I had been holding off on that K3.

Pretty sure all my Sigma DG lenses are full frame 'compatible' too. Those, plus my handful of FA's and legacy glass. I'm ready to go!

    /happy tears

I am really hoping that this camera is not vapourware like the last FF pentax announcement. More competition is always good.

Makes me glad I planned on saving up for a K-3 this year, will have to look at picking this up instead now :D

My K-5 badly needs replacing with something with decent low light AF.

Anyone else think that D-FA 24-70 F2.8 is a rebranded recoated remounted Tammy 24-70 non-VC USD? or is it just me?

Or do they have something better that D-FA* worthy?

(still an owner of a K1000, so i still count hehe)

Can only be a good thing. As an owner of that Tamron lens it is a mighty fine lens. It is BIG though. And it is probably unnecessarily big as the Canikon version has vibration control which will not be needed on the Pentax version. I think Pentax people will get shocked at the size and weight of what is being touted as a walk around lens.

There is a good visual comparison on Pentax Forums.

If it is a rebadged Tamron I'd be even more excited about the potential that the 70-200mm is also a Tamron. That lens is even better.

Yep she's a Tammy alright. That association goes back years.
The size thing is probably unavoidable physics.
The prime horders won't be worried :)
