    $800+

What body lenses did you change from and what are you currently using with your Pentax setup. I'm really undecided with which direction I should go. While I don't have a heavy investment in Pentax I think I would get a better overall picture by getting at least a K-3 and a good quality prime.

How do you find the Nikon over the Pentax. I like the the ergonomics in general of the Pentax over canikon equivalents at the time and had the best bang for buck.

In generally I find Nikon ergonomics to be pretty similar to Pentax. Button placements are pretty similar.

D500 ergonomics are virtually identical to my K3. Grip is nice and deep and feels the same in the hand. Only really major difference is the joystick for focus selection. D810 is a slightly bigger camera but feels similar. I had no problems switching systems.

The only thing with Nikon is the mount is backwards.

Been a white since I've followed anything camera related.

Has Ricoh taken over and put in their menu system into the Pentax camera's yet? Or do they run two separate lines still?

Always found the menu system and layout really good when I use to work there...

I found Pentax to be better in terms of control layout, particualrly when it comes to shooting manual with the adjustment of shutter speed/focal length.

well at least in terms of d5200 v k5

Asking 800 with a lens, I just missed out the other night for a K3 with 12k shutter count and a Sigma 10-20mm, extra batteries and SD cards for $760. Was really spewing about that.

But B&H will also have Black Friday in a few weeks, so keen to see if it drops in price there.

Got my K3, decent price as well for the shutter count. Can't wait to give it a go in a week's time.

After new or used? Used on Pentax forum is good. Occasionally some aussie sellers pops up.

New would still be adorama or b&h.. Though haven't bought any in a few years... So may be better ones.

hmm.. I think Ill go new because the 2nd hand ones seem to be only marginally cheaper (like 20% or so).

Dcxpert on eBay if they have them on there. If not Pentax.com.au although I always found dcxpert to be a bit cheaper despite being one and the same.

Sold off my 31 and 77 in the last couple weeks. Gorgeous lenses.
