I don't think there was really much stock in the initial shipment.

No, I had secured one until the Dell wide turned up and had to cancel. The next shipment was apparently heading in Jan 20th-30th..

Yeah the only sellers were from VIC or NSW and I'd rather have a Brisbane seller for warranty issues if I end up buying one. Otherwise I'd probably have one. But then if someone nice shows up at CES with gsync/adaptive sync I may just wait for that ;-)

Picked one of these up yesterday, and after playing around with it for a few hours adjusting settings all i can say is WOW...

This monitor is amazing, for gaming you cannot go past this, the dot pitch is slightly smaller than my dell 3011, which now looks like an old clunker dinosaur I will never go back :)

A few things, when you get this out of the box, the setting on the monitor itself is set to Display Port 1.1 you have to change it to 1.2 to get the computer to recognise 4k @ 60hz but once that was done.. you will have to play with the colour balance and brightness/contrast for a while but all good once it's set up :)

worth every cent of $1049 :)

Very interested in hearing the opinions on this, will dictate whether I keep the Dell I think (although that's looking very likely atm!)

Yeah at 30hz it was unusable .. but at 60hz virtually the same as the dell as far as i can tell. For gaming absolutely perfect it feels like a cross between a TN panel and a IPS panel, also the semi gloss finish makes the black look BLACK!!! im chuffed :) was expecting less got the perfect monitor as far as I'm concerned.

How do you find this in terms of ergonomics, the lack of adjustment in the stand is a bit ho hum isn't it? Hard to tell from the Philips website but im guessing 2 years warranty?

Thanks to those who have this sharing their opinions and pics :)

Warranty is 3 years according to the warranty card from the box.

hey guys I just got this monitor. I have it plugged into my gtx 780 via the supplied display port cable. I have changed the monitor settings from DP 1.1 to 1.2 but i still cant get my compy to recognise it as a 60hz display :S. Any ideas?

I've seen people say in other forums that after they tried a different DP cable it worked.

Also, make sure your gtx 780 supports DP 1.2

Well that's on par with the dell, although not sure how Philips service and replacement compares to them but thanks for clarifying.
