Yeah, should go well with my recent GTX980Ti purchase. Wallet has copped a hammering in the last 30days... gtx980ti, gtx980 (for junior) and now this... haha

I was looking for a 1440p/1600p 30-32" and this pops up.
Only have a 7850 to drive it for the short term.
Waiting for the next release of Polaris / Pascal before I upgrade GFX.
Primarily for productivity, gaming takes a back seat.
    Do I bite the bullet?

My friendd runs some games @ 1080p and to be fair, its apparently not bad... Surprising.

I have a gtx970 so obviously AAA titles are out @ 4k for now. But I seem to play more indie games lately anyway.

And don't give me any of that "its too big bullshit", what are you, a virgin.

I did the basic research, normal disgruntled mums/dads posting on productreviews.com due to slower delivery. Followed up a few Whirpool posts and a rep was on there with some good feedback from other members.

If your in a rush, go out and buy one local... If you want a bargain buy it and wait 10 days but don't complain about slow delivery on a super good deal. IMO.

So yeah they passed the 'legit' seller tests. Plus paypal so you can always dispute.

    Let the race begin!

Stole this from the ozbargain post re: returns.

"For returns, it's free shipping back to base via Parcel Point:

Please visit https://freeshippingtech.com.au/index.php?p=returns to submit a return request.
Fill out your information and the order information including Part Code: GAMFITXXXX. Invoice Number: SIHDXXXXXX. You should receive a response within 24 hours from when you submit the request and be supplied with an RCHD number.

Once you have received your RCHD number, please go to the following website, http://parcelpoint.com.au/freeshippingtech to return the faulty product. Here you will be able to fill in the required information, including Order ID SIHDXXXXXX. Under additional information please provide us with your RCHD number and leave as much detail about the issue as possible.

Be sure to let us know whether you would prefer a refund or replacement item.
You should then be given a return label to attach to the parcel and take the item to the specified location.
Once we receive the item, we should then be able to offer you a refund or a replacement item."

Anyone have any comments/input on running one of these for PS4 gaming and a secondary monitor (mounted on a bracket up higher) for monitoring tools connected to an iMac Retina (2015 model with the 2GB video card). As far as I can tell the iMac can output to this resolution OK but I wonder about the gaming performance with a PS4?

One of the first posts in the Ozbargain deal states that 1080p PS4 gaming is beautiful on this monitor.

    hi guys

I just put in a temporary card (5870) while I am waiting for my 980Ti to arrive.

installed the latest drivers, all ok however, connect through DP cable and DP1.2 enabled , resolution is 3840x2160 BUT I can not change the frequency to 60Hz.

Under display properties -> Monitor I can see the monitor settings but the screen refresh rate only shows 24 and 30Hz. the box "hide modes that this monitor cannot display" is greyed out.

any ideas how can I get this going in 60Hz as its a pain? thanks
