toe_sa: what camera do you use to do your photography?
sony dsc s85 pro digi cam
i love it
I rekon we should have a competition of the most statues taken in a weekend ( have to prove its you with the day's newspaper and your nickname written on it )
and change that to most national park signs etc
could be interesting
You ppl in the city would kick us country folks ass, I'd have to get some old folks to stand still for my satues..
Just be imaginative, try and shoot something that "you" consider a monument, that could be nearly anything in your town. From headstones at the graveyard, to the local pub or the local post office.
Like this one?
Oops I just realised they were spose to be taken on the weekend, this was taken on St Pats Day.
Hmm Oh well.. I'm sure I won't get beaten down by an unruly mob for leaving it up.
Just got my first SLR camera, so now looks like I've got something to take a photo of this weekend.
That's pretty cool, nicely presented too.
Are there any size limits?
Here's one I prepared earlier ...
Does it have to be only from the weekend? I got some nice shots of places in England, Rome, Pisa, Paris, Venice, Luzern, New York, Orlando (DisneyWorld! ) and a few other places whos name escapes me from my trip over the christmas holidays
Nah man, thats not really the point of the challenge. By all means go and post those pics in the Photography Appreciation thread, but this one is for the "challenge". I think the purpose of the challenge is for us all to improve out photography skills, while showing others our work at the same time.
Nope, post as big as you want.
Just please, post a thumbnail here in the thread, linking to the full size photo
I got a really good photo of a tree in a Memorial Arbortorium (Don't knock it), but my mother pressed the wrong button on the camera and killed all the pictures :/, waas good too
Oops, forgot to post my piccies (well a link to them anyways)!
please be gentle
Here's an 800x600 night shot of Telstra Stadium, not sure if it's quite right for the challenge but this I suppose is a monument to Telstra (*shudder*)
Taken this at UNSW today. did not turn out well, maybe is the rain and my skill
They ain't monuments, statues and memorials.
a photo by my dad
I like this one, the raindrops making the craters in the water and all.
It's ok, the're part of the Oh My! group. The main thing is getting out and taking photos.
