I posted one of those before, now here's the whole set:

1 Ferris wheel at Birrarung Marr

    2 Boathouses by the Yarra

3 All the sights of Melbourne CBD in one photo

    4 Docklands & Telstra Dome

    5 Brighton beach

I think this type of pano was a trend years ago but I only discovered it lately and given the crappy weather it was a chance to try my hand on Photoshop a little. But it does take a while to finish them and there are still quite a few imperfections in all of them that I cbf cleaning up, especially in the centre where most of the photochopping is done.

At the end of the day its just a gimmick and I dont think I'm doing it again (too much work), but it was fun while it lasted

gave me a headache, everything is so busy... But i printed the 3rd one just to see it on a wall and what it looked standing far away...

Its not bad..... I would use a print like this for a plain coloured wall if i was trying to add focus to it..

Regardless, can you give me a quick run down what the process is... or what this type of shopping is called...

O and favourite is 3... with the street.. :p

Nah, that's not the type of thing I'd put on my wall... just a bit of fun for the w/e :p

I did the polar coordinates thing but it take a lot of cloning/liquify to finish it, not sure if there's an easier way.

Cute! Even though these things are novel, you never know when you'll finally find a subject that properly suits it.

i dont think these shots are novel because the ones i've seen before were non-fisheye.

I like the birrarung marr the most  i think it will funky as a t-shirt.

Actually I think you are right :)

Spyro, you should make these for T-shirts on redbubble. Then sell them at the market

Yeah I might do that one day... I cbf uploading/tagging/checking RB etc to be honest. All my stuff on RB are not for sale because of that  If I find a couple of hours on a w/e I might

Edit: BTW re tshirt, I designed one once upon a time for RB and I actually bought it to see what it looks like. It was crap so I took it down. Its not as easy as it seems, not for me anyway

    Crazy Nintendo Planets

The images look like they are taken from a Nintendo game.

Nice to recognize something familiar presented in an un-familiar way.

    Very clever.

awesome photos - but the clone job in the middle of each photo spoils it for me - the Brighton beach one is absolutely fantastic - but my eye is drawn to the awkward pattern left from the clone job there.

Fix it - and you'll make a mint from these :p

I like em all, but I think brighton beach one works fantastically well and transcends the gimmickry of the rest.

If there was a craze for these earlier I must have missed it -- seeing it for the first time, I really liked them! Great twist on everyday parts of the city. Top stuff
