I haven't actually tried - the options don't give any hint that the wheel can be used, though.

Mind you, I only have the PS2 Logitech wheel (which is USB and should work), not the current wheel, so results may vary. :) Might try it tonight.

OutRun's not too bad. You're treated to some gorgeous 1080p visuals on some stages, but the 8-bit quality of the vocals grates after awhile and your girlfriend's arms are unusually long. ;)

For some strange reason, however, the game's default difficulty settings is set to "Very Easy" and sure enough, it is. You'll complete the game in about 10 minutes! Change it to "Very Hard" if you want to have a good challenge, because you can drift around most corners quite easily without losing much speed and it kinda takes the difficulty curve away from the original OutRun.

Some of the trophy's will be fun to get "Travel more than 300kph for 10 seconds" - bloody heck, the only straights and gentle turns where I could possibly do that without losing speed are when you transition to the next stage (it's a 12-14 second transition, but you can't crash into anyone or you'll lose heaps of speed)!

All up, I think it's a worthy buy for $16.

Speaking of worthwhile purchases, has anyone bought the Resident Evil addon? Does it add anything that's actually worthwhile to the game?

I picked up Little Big Planet new for $25 at a game sale at uni, and a second controller for our PS3 for $18 (sixaxis, not DS3), so I'm bashing around at that now. I'm enjoying it, but I can see that I wouldn't have been too impressed with it if I'd paid full price. Also jeeze it's hard to find a decent level online, they're mostly bollocks. Also picked up Mercenaries 2 for $25 and having a blast at that. Same again, great game to pick up from a bargain bin, wouldn't pay anywhere near full price for it. Quite satisfying to bunker bust a boat or building (hows that for alliteration!).

    Yeah, that's a great price.
I've resold some on ebay from here for the same link

Anyone else in the fat princess beta? I'm in the EU and AU beta testing, pretty good game, just a lot of flaws like a bit of lag due to seemingly sloppy netcode, can't search for games for a server list and a few bugs. Incredibly enjoyable if the game has people in it.

Just a heads up that JBHiFi Online have Valkyria Chronicles for $59.99. The URL says it comes with a bonus artbook but it seems they're all out. Much cheaper than what JBs are charging in store.

I have just bought BioShock for 10pounds + free shipping from www.zavvi.co.uk and also Little Big Planet from www.DVD.co.uk for 10 pounds + 2 pounds for shipping.

That’s two top games for less then 50 dollars, which is not too bad. You would be lucky to find one of those games in Australia for 50 dollars.

I also bought Dead Space for $50 from BigW, which is also a fantastic game.

    No worries

I almost grabbed a copy from JBs for $99 the other day. I've been looking for it for ages. Couldn't resist the online price though.

10 pounds! That's practically giving it away

LBP was meant to be the "killer app" for the PS3, I think its safe to say it was a killer flop instead.

Interesting game for about a week, quickly gets old though. I loaded it up the other day for the first time in ages and realized how boring it actually is.
