just starting my trophy quest (slowly )
Give it a year and you'll do fine I only started getting serious in Feburary or March, and I'm at 1000+ trophies
picked up 2 madden trophies...easy ones too (that didn't require me to finish a game lol) but madden was never about getting trophies anyways.
i've got 11 bd titles (they r the ones that have trophy's) in my draw to keep me happy
true, but you played close to 24/7 lol
as much as you play, there are some people around the world you are just stupid and play so much they are ranked in the top 10 in the world.
get a life people
theres more to just trophies hahah
like more trophies!
Such serious lies! I maxed out at 16hrs per day, thank you very much!
But seriously, people like Hakoom, DEMON-ONE13 , Killerxx etc. are just insanely crazy.... I want to know what they do for money.
maybe they work at Sony and their job title is "pro trophy gatherer"
just to make their service look good!
dont forget the good old account sharing scenario
pioneered by assholes on 360's and looking at some of the trophy counts, possibly also happening on ps3
do these trophy cards auto update? and how often? I've got about 25 trophy's that arent showing up...
but to be fair i generated that trophy card b4 my ps3 synced (only just updated to 3.0 last night. lol)
trophy count = slow!
if its a free accounts, you need to use the update website once a day.
if u paid for a premium account with MMOS, it will update for you automatically.
just remember to sync the trophies with the server before you do the website update.
there we are. thats better
keep working on it!
Trophy testing is the slowest, most tedious part of the whole test process.
A producer typically sits down and says to himself, "how can I make people play this for as long as possible before they rage-quit and never come back?".
He figures out his allowance of trophies and then declares them as achievable, and sends them off to the developers who add the goals/code into the game.
Then we poor morons have to go and see if every...single...trophy...is possible. You know how trophies have stupid reqs like 'kill 600 anal soldiers' or 'defeat willy wonka without being hit by a flying top hat' while wonka throws dozens of hats per attack in a 20 minute battle? We have to run those tests, and often a new version arrives before we can finish the test. Save data (including trophy) is not always compatible so we have to start from scratch.
A tough trophy to obtain probably takes a total of 6 guys grinding out that task for a total of 800-1000 hours - if it works as designed. Then add the other 30-50 trophies Each broken trophy adds 1-2 weeks to the test cycle because if Sony/Microsoft find a trophy that isn't awarding properly then the developer has just received an automatic FAIL on submission. Submissions cost us$10,000 just to have Sony/Microsoft bug test on their end before the game is deemed fit in terms of bugs (quality and bugs are two different things, sadly).
Microsoft and Sony dont hire people to grind out trophies for public profile bragging We have a private VPN shared between Sony, Microsoft, Namco, Sega (and any others I forgot) so we can work on trophies/achievements without them leaking. And as an example, for Noby Noby Boy, Google set up a farm of YouTube servers so we could test our uploading features for the in-game generated content.
finally, i get more madden 10 trophies!
Uncharted 2 trophy list is up!
Seems the standard Uncharted affair. MP trophies seem easy enough. Much the same as Uncharted 1 it seems overall. The game isn't about the trophies though, its about Uncharted!
MP trophies are epically awesome, can't wait to play this through a few times
(I've made a personal promise, NO guides for UC2/AC2 until I cant go on. Aka, only used for treasure hunting once I've played them to hell.
hopefully it won't be too bad!
i need to make 900!
