I am looking at getting a new ph in about October as my mobile has gotten so unreliable SE K800 price range approx $1100 and want no contract. Looking at either iPhone 5 or Android had a quick look today the Samsung galaxy is a bit too wide for my hands for comfort I find the Iphone 4 to be very responsive, I always use itunes as it is for last 5 yrs or so because of my ipod classic. I want good battery usuage/campacity web surf program office apps of some kind camera games ebook reader watch movies I download/rip Please help cheers
You're basically asking us to confirm your wish for an iphone. so get an iphone. therye not that different from android phones that i merits much stressing. BUT, dont get an iphone4. it'll be one lower than an iphone5 which is out soon, and that counts for a lot in the iphone world.
They all pretty much work the same. I'd be getting a HTC if I was you. pick a price point, buy it, use it till it breaks. repeat. This isnt a life commitment and you wont be left being laughed at by the world if you buy version 8 instead of version 9. I wouldnt touch the apple myelf, but that viewpoints not the same for everyone.
I want good battery usuage/campacity Most smartphones have around 1-2 days battery life. It won't last for 4 days on a charge like your old K800. Be warned. web surf iPhone has no Flash. Not a huge problem to be honest, but when you do need it it's annoying. Android has Flash already. program office apps of some kind camera games ebook reader All smartphones, iOS or Android, can do all that. watch movies I download/rip With iOS, you need to rip all your movies to mp4 cos that's the only format it supports. Android can pretty much run all movie formats and best of all, just drag and drop to play. This was one of the reason's I switched to Android because I simply don't have time converting. Fixed...Desire HD is old and battery life is woeful.
*shrug* My DHD has never had battery problems? Well, no less than any other smart phone out there. I have the DHD, my fiance has the GS2.
This is basically a summary of an iPhone lulz. In your case, I would recommend you wait for the fifth-generation iPhone.
