    Hey guys

Shot a few sunrises at Point Cartwright of late, thought I'd share a few.

Been getting more and more into long exposure black and white shots personally, especially with my ND400 (soon to be replaced with a Lee Big Stopper :) )

    Fantastic work Aramis.
I always seem to appreciate your black and whites more than the colour versions

I wonder how much ND will be too much though... as it is, I think the water effects are spot on, and the clouds have just enough substance to make them tangible. Would the extra time afforded by the big stopper make them TOO streaky though?

Nice shots (as usual). I'll have to pick up an ND filter and get out and try something similar myself.

Ah well the big stopper is 10 stops whereas the nd400 is 9. So it's a replacement for convience really, so I can chop and change the big stopper out when I want quick 0.5 second shots etc. And so Kane doesn't keep stealing it!!!!

An nd400 is the easiest way, about 150 from DDs in the Valley.

How do you get that mist like effect on the water? I really like it. :)

Just the 2 - 3 mins exposure, with moving water, that's pretty much it :)

Timing is very important ..... you need to be in tune as it were.
