I use an uleFone Power - 6050mAh battery! Only works on Optus in Oz tho. I have it on a data-only plan, 10GB for $35 a month I think. Crazy good phone for the money and lasts all day playing pogo and sharing wifi to the kids. :)

edit: ooh, Power II coming out soon?

I don't know if I just look suss or something dodgy is going on in my suburb but last night was the second time in a week that I have been stopped by the cops while playing in the evening to ask what I was doing.

In other news 10km egg variability has been pretty poor for me lately. Hatches have been

    - Pineco
    - Dratini
    - Dratini
    - Pineco
    - Mantine
    - Mantine
    - Mantine
    - Mantine
    - Dratini

Seems to be a bunch of stuff that can hatch from 10km eggs that is pretty shit. I dont understand what theyre thinking when they choose. Why is Mantine and Sudowoodo in there? Just like Pinsir i guess......

Caught and evolved what should be my last Partychu for this event. I'm having exceptionally bad luck with the movesets with evolutions. I've also used up too many Pinap berries on them at the Adelaide Oval cluster spawns.

Damned shame about what happened to that beautiful phone :(

Niantic originally based the egg system on the main RPG series but if enough people complain, they might change things up again. They definitely have done some weird things with this 2nd generation release though, like how it's apparently impossible to hatch some Pokémon like the gen 2 starters. I'm more upset about that last bit :(

EDIT: Just hatched a Larvitar :)

Last week's 10km eggs in chronological order:

    - Pineco
    - Dratini
    - Dratini
    - Pineco
    - Mantine
    - Dratini
    - Dratini
    - Dratini
    - Dratini
    - Lapras
    - Dratini

11 all together and I notice a wild increase in the dratini drop rate.

Now I have enough candies to evolve one. Considering I caught 8 dratinis and 2 dragonites in the wild, I appreciate all the egg candies.

I got a pineco in my last one and have one on teh go at the moment

The wife got a Dratini this morning from a 10K, which was enough for her to get a Dragonite, unfortunately it was only 1400

I pretty much have just been getting 5k eggs otherwise

Still worth it to level up imho. Any of the top tier Pokemon will still wreck anything regardless of their IVs and even their movesets.

Hatches from eggs are capped at lvl 20 unfortunately. Once you get lvl 30 or over theres really nothing worth keeping because the dust needed to level them up is just too arduous to collect.

Well I just hatched a Larvitar  That has allowed me to bump my Tyranitar to over 3k.

Now ill start working on a decent IV one. Fortunately my local area seems to be throwing out the Larvitars so I could be in for a few more.

Yeah but I guess it's balanced that you're pretty much guaranteed a high-ish IV hatch though. Plus all those extra candies helps to bring them up to par :)

Regarding Stardusts, just start catching anything you see, especially if you're sitting around doing nothing like waiting for an appointment or something and you'll get plenty of them soon enough. I've already started to recover all that Stardust that I recently splurged on my Tyranitar.
