Some have argued that Let's Go was essentially a "proof of concept" beta test for next gen.

no it was something to crank out to ride the craze and make some quick cash, just like all the lazy wii u ports.

Nintendo have been saying they want to capture new audiences and yet here they are treading the well worn boards of the big money makers yet again. all the big releases i'm sure are good for the core audience and the shareholders will be happy that this will make bank, but here's a big meh from a non-traditional new Nintendo fan.

Nintendo are deeply into shovelware and mainline mode. /rant off enjoy your pokemen.

Let's go was fun and a great introduction to younger children, my 5yr old enjoys it alot.

But am hoping that if they can have a let's go series and a main series they can keep all the junior friendly stuff in let's go like the whole team exp share etc. And keep the core games at a higher level

The missus is pretty excited for this as she didn’t enjoy the simplified let’s go eevee as much as the previous core games.

about 1:15 you see a trainer walking down some stairs - maybe I'm assuming too much but that looks open worldy to me. Then 1:19-1:26 looks like more open world action. Also 1:45ish.

Graphics looks great! I haven't really touched any Pokemon titles since Diamond and Pearl but I'd be interested to jump on this one.

Looks like Game Freak are doubling down on the stereotypes for this one with Industrialist Weezing and soccer hooligans, Team Yell. I thought they got that out of their system with Sun and Moon.

I actually kind of dig it, why not have some stereo types in there makes me giggle seeing an industrialist wheezing, it works on so many levels!

Agreed, but curry and rice? Wouldn't bangers and mash be more appropriate? That said chicken tikka masala was voted the national dish of Britain a few years back, and nearly every British comedy talks about going out for a curry so it kinda makes sense
