Our friendly neighbour just insisted I have 8 pomegranates (no idea where she got them from). Now the question is, what can I do with them!?

if it's fresh and tasty, eat them!

otherwise add to a garden/chicken salad... I also had a really nice pomegranate cake once (involves squeezing all the seeds)

last night I did slow roasted lamb with a garlic and lemon zest rub, with a pomegranate and port reduction sticky sauce. crispy roast spuds with carrots, butternut pumpkin and a few brussels halves and panfried in butter. not bad.

if you de-seed them and half fill them in ice cube trays and then then top the trays up with orange juice or guava juice they make wicked ice cubes for drinks and champagne

Dump them on a salad, they add great texture.

Blend in your smoothies, if your blender is good enough.
