I've always wanted to have this in my portfolio. I knew that these photos were pretty easy to achieve, the hard part would be in the editing. I spent a lot of time, maybe too much, editing each photo. I cou;d've spent more time on the hair though, that was the hardest bit do edit. Finding the model was also not an easy task. There are a lot of pretty models, but there aren't many (TF models) that can pull off a beauty shoot. This one did :)

Lighting setup was simple, Bowens 500 @ 1/16 on a softbox up top pointing at the model at a 45 degree angle. Lost my reflector so I used my car's windshield reflector screen :p Positioned directly under the light.

    #1 is nice

The rest seem a bit strongly exposed (too much white). #2 the pose seems a bit odd; #3 is nice. I like #4, always nice to see a model smile:)

In the first two you have a darkening or shadow around her lip. Looks like a mo and is a bit unflattering. Also number 2 suffers a but from uneven lighting from the neck down.

Harsh I know but beauty shots are for unrealistic perfection

Also in number one looks like a lipstick smudge on lower lip on her right side - takes away from symmetry of shape.

I like the sans makeup shots - maybe a bit blown out but good bones.

GTFO mate, lol jokes. I removed the folds but it looked a bit unnatural from my point of view. Blotchy, well yes, that's just how her skin was. Need to learn airbrushing skills.
