Turn the lights off, get out the good speakers/headphones, and crap your pants.

I love horror/thriller stuff. Films are good, but the interactivity of games is even better.

that being the scenario you would enjoy AW, it was atmospheric and a bit mysterious. combat is just "ok".

Very very good at night due to the way lighting is a big focus in the game (Alan uses his torch as a weapon of sorts). It's got a great Stephen King vibe about it. Just avoid American Nightmare. *yawn*.

Another game i'd reccomend is Layers Of Fear, that game is so atmospheric it's fucked. Hands down creepiest game i've played.

Dead by daylight is a good ‘thrill’ scary game. Like one minute you’re doing something so innocuous, and then you look up to find mike Meyers staying at you from the bushes.

Blasphemous, possibly the best 2D take on the "Souls-like" genre (I hate to use that word along with Shmup but it does get the point across)

I seem to have randomly stumbled back into World of Warships at the right time, having a 4 year anniversary with a lot of cool rewards and contests & stuff. Got a lot of new ships & port slots. I'd been playing mostly as a Destroyer captain and mostly as US & Japanese but fell into a bit of a funk, but I decided to start playing more Cruisers and now have a good amount of US & Russia mid-level cruisers. Really enjoying the Russian Kirov.

Screenshot doesn't do justice to Metro 2033 Redux

I just got a new laptop with a 2060 in it, which is a huge upgrade from the 940MX I had earlier, so everything is drool inducing at the moment.

But seriously, when did games get so big? 65GB for a single title? That's a huge hit. And sucks for me, seeing as I only get to load up what I can download while I'm on leave. But that's a story for another day.

2033 Redux is very pretty compared to the original. I do wish they hadn't changed the controls though.
