Really enjoying Enter The Gungeon, it's been in my pile of shame too long and finally have the time to play it. :)

Is there an easier way of getting photos saved in game using photo mode?

    I had to go: G:\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles\164BEC1F

and change extention of file PRDR31168074827_1 to JPG then open in IrfanView and convert to PNG!

I upload to Steam with my in game screenshots, then link the steam pic or use copy/paste magic... Perhaps Agg could comment for the best way for us to post game screenies.

I personally would write an ImageMagick script. I could knock one up for you later today.

Yeah no issues in general but rdr2 doesn't save jpg need to do file conversion. Also print screen key seems to take blank grab too.

ShareX might be useful for this too, heck, it might even be able to auto-post to OCAU.

Righto, grab ImageMagick and install it. Add the install location to your %PATH% variable.
    https://imagemagick.org/script/download.php#windows

It's a powerful command line image processor. I use this almost every day in my job. There are several executables it installs. The one we care about is "convert.exe" which does image conversion. Documentation here: https://imagemagick.org/script/convert.php

Quick and dirty from the command line, you can run something like

    Code:
    for /f "tokens=*" %F in ('dir /b PRD*) do convert %F %F.jpg

ImageMagick knows file extensions. Ask for a .jpg, and it will create a proper JPG file. Ask for PNG, get one of those. Throw in resize options if you like, for example:

    Code:
    for /f "tokens=*" %F in ('dir /b PRD*) do convert %F -resize 1920x1080 %F.jpg

Will scale the image to fit a 1920x1080 bounding box (won't change the aspect ratio, so it'll squeeze the image into that best fit if it's a different ratio).

See the documentation link I posted for a squillion more post processing options (if you want to change the JPG quality, if you want to do various filtering or scaling options, etc). Simplest option though is just in and out.

Note that it won't ask to overwrite a file. So be careful in your syntax - optionally create a sub-directory and spit your converted files out there.

You can put that command into a batch file, but you need to change the "%" to "%%" for it to work:

    Code:
    for /f "tokens=*" %%F in ('dir /b PRD*) do convert %%F %%F.jpg

Slap that in a "blah.bat" file, and then you can double-click to execute from a GUI, give it a second or two, and suddenly all your files are converted in a simple click. No more individual clicky clicky open / convert / save as nonsense.

Learn scripting. Love scripting. Machines can do the work, so people have time to think.

all videos and screenshots captured with shadowplay go into your Videos folder and into the respective games folder and thats it... really simple and easy to find.

My first seed game, no one has died, but they soon will.
If Rimworld and Terraria had a baby, Oxygen not included would be it.

    9600k+1080ti FE > mITX = 70'c @ +120fps 1920x1080p @ 144hz
That pic is HIGH and x4 and x8, still can be improved but then produces more heat, it's summertime
The graphics look ARMA2 / DAYz / PUBG, draw distance detail isn't great, from the hides the landscape is boosted, whereas when you're in the forest, it's 10ft of trees in every direction.

I had a good hunt yesterday, a good stalk, dodged a brown bear trying to eat my face, glassed a Whitetail from a hide and downed it, it was a mission item too.
First time I installed it, and played, I rage quit coz I tried to Run n Gun...nope..fail.
You have to walk quietly and listen....sound is 80% of the game...You might have a 5sec window after finding a target to scope and fire, or they turn and are gone.
