Dumping screenshots from latest CP2077 playthrough, bring on the expansions.

Vampyr. This was a surprisingly enjoyable game with a lot of great ideas executed remarkably well.

I think Cyberpunk is my favourite open world game to date, never have I been this invested and unable to put a game down. I don't want it to end

Yakuza: Like A Dragon. Graphics aren't game changing but I'm genuinely struggling to find words for this game, they pull of the whackyness in... a way and contrast it well with the overbearingly serious tone of the story. I just did a mini game collecting cans on a bicycle while competing with other homeless people... with boost powerups involved... all for 150Y. Right after being shot by a yakuza boss.

Not a game i'm playing, but short of creating a thread just for this... i'll chuck it here..

If you're playing a racing game with this view... i bet you're crashing a lot as there's no way you would be able to see where you're going:

So I'm thinking "uh-oh, this doesn't look good..."

Annnd it's an "Obliteration" totem that ends your run, effectively ending your game.

Kinda handy, I have some painting to do and need to get on with it. :)

Torchlight III is such a simple game, but it looks amazing in UWQHD.

Goodbye night city you weird and broken bastard. Yes, that's exactly how I wanted to go out...

Super cute and so far fairly enjoyable. But hot damn, cpu constantly sits between 20-30% usage.... on a 5950x.... locked at 4.5GHz... That's like the equivalent of 10 logical cores maxed out.

Is it some kind of "quantum" game where it just plays out every possible scenario at once, while waiting for little old me to push the next button? :p

My ancient 8-thread i7-3632QM laptop can barely play it. Just goes to 100% all fans roaring and slowly burns a hole in the desk.

Not sure what's going on. It's not a terribly strenuous game. Hell, they made a Nintendo Switch port that looks quite nice.

Could be worse, was going to be packing a sneaky wang to see how the world would react, but decided to leave that for a less serious play through. :p

Shame, so it's not just the ryzen breaking it. Had a quick look at task manager to see what it was doing and I swear 13 cores are doing exactly the same thing. That usage is way too even for a gaming workload. Interestingly, the more you run around the less cpu usage it shows. Soon as you stop moving it sky rockets again.

    Just keep swimming.... lol

Grabbed "Carrion" on the recent GoG sale. I'm a huge horror fan, and taking control of essentially the monster from John Carpenter's "The Thing" is loads of fun.

Yah, it’s the best especially on the telly. We got on the booze and played it till we both passed out at 11pm. Didn’t even make it till midnight, such oldies we are.

oh man, I watched a dev video of this game, it looks insanely fun!!!

Ran through all the commercial doom wads a while back using gzdoom and wadsmoosh to merge them all into a single wad file and make life super easy. Can leave them as separate episodes, or merge them into one giant episode and just slowly plug away at it.

Took a few months just doing a level here and there, But got there in the end. Neat side effect is being able to use the double barrel in Doom 1 via cheats. :D

Anyways, Since gzdoom also supports Heretic and Hexen, I decided to start working through them next. :D Just finished Episode 1 of Heretic. That'll do for one day.

So glad ID / Raven had the forward thinking to open source these way back in the day before the code was lost or it wound up in legal hell years later.:thumbup:

Thanks to source ports, I'll still be firing these classics up every now and then till the day I die, regardless of what wild hardware we have by then. <3

Dishonored 2. As with the original, just about every scene in this game is an artwork.

I thoroughly enjoyed Dishonored 2, less so Death of The Outsider (the only game I didn't finish in the series).
