When I was in highschool I used to be addicted to Minesweeper. I'd play custom games and add an extra mine every time I completed one. I can't remember what I got up to, but it sure did become very dense, often relying on a lot of luck to "solve".

Finished SoW, so here's my last video. The infinite arrow refresh exploit is perfect for farming.

With SoW complete, I'm now playing Shadow of Mordor.

    Pic 3.

Looks gorgeous, and runs at a smooth 95 fps with a modest SweetFX preset.

having a blast with Raft in Co-op with 2 buddies. Awesome game.. some progress between the 2 shots.. I keep getting in trouble for making the place prettier and wasting resources :p

Started a dive back into the original F.E.A.R today. The last time I played this was probably with a 3850 and 21" 60hz TN panel. 15 year old me would have creamed at even the possibility of 2k 240hz gaming.

Still a great game despite releasing in 2005. Dynamic lighting effects, atmosphere that keeps you on edge, open level design with multiple routes that lets the aggressive AI hunting in packs nail you from every possible angle. They will even flip objects to make cover. Nailing enemies with the penetrator is as satisfying as I remember.

Unfortunately the game has quite a few performance/technical issues. Could have done with another month or so to smooth things out.

I never find the puzzles in RE games to be good or great tbh. More often than not I find them frustrating, this entry has been pretty good on that front though.

Its a bad port.. mouse movement is apparently bad too.

Like 50% of releases now your best off waiting 6+ months before even playing the game to get a better experience.

the Alma jump scares and slow mo made for such a great game.

playing cyber punk at the moment. Mixed bag for me graphics wise, in 4k.....sometimes you just look up and slowly pan across the skyline and its mesmerising, but with DLSS on my character looks almost 8bit in the menu.

Definitely a more fun game than 7 was but nothing really stands out as much. That Welcome to the Family cutscene in 7 was something else.

Iris Fall. Very intelligent and creative puzzle platformer, needs stronger narrative connections.

REV looks gorgeous, but judging by the playthroughs I've seen on YT it's also pretty dull and uninspiring. Surprisingly short, too.
