For me The Last of Us 2.. I never seen so much detail in every single room, really helps with immersion, that and its epic AI.

I just kept taking screenshots in that game, need to get em off PS account and post.

It took four tries, but I finally brought down Big Bertha.

Steam sales seems kinda void of anything remotely interesting, so into the backlog we go with Tomb Raider (2013).

Man, she just gets the living shit kicked out of her non stop. lol

Controls are a bit janky, occasionally going Sonic Adventure (if in doubt, just hold up and let it do it's own thing) and other times Shenmue (quick, press x, now push it really fast. whoops... too slow, load a save game and try again) crap.
But in between all that stuff it's actually not bad so far (probably 3/4 of the way through if I were to guess). Compared to the original where you'd spend 30 seconds just trying to position yourself in front of a lever..... its certainly an improvement. :p

Damn, that looks pretty fantastic for a 2013 game.

I loved this song before I discovered it was from FC5. RITTENHOUSE FOR PRESIDENT!
(ed2 above ed1; I thought this was Matthew McConaughey at first.)
(wow google have censored it unless you get specific.)

I'm 60 hours into HZD. I've completed ~60% of the main story.

I've activated the Frozen Lands DLC by visiting the Buku Buku people at their ancestral outpost, so I can get started on that when I've finished the vanilla campaign.

Just did the alternate ending of Cyberpunk (Panam) really enjoyed it. Great game. Such a pity it has no end-game as i've done every sidequest and don't really see a point in grinding every car.

Cool photo mode though, not that mine's any good.

Yeah it's a stunning game, on oled in 4k be amazing. All while running in high fps its a site to be seen. I basically have to decide between 3080ti or 48" OLED :tired:

No better time to be a gamer : ) The tech these days is incredible. Hard to even think at some point in the future I'll be upgrading from this too.

    How about a 3080 and a little bit of a deposit towards a 48" Oled : )

How does it go with keeping up with the fps? No dlss or anything to keep it there?

Ive been considering downgrading res just to try and keep games at or above 60fps at native res

Doom is well optimised and easy to run at 4k native 120fps+. 3080/6800xt both do it no problem. Most AAA titles dont follow suit there unfortunately lol

As above I ran doom eternal first thing on my oled and when my 3080 arrived in october last year stays north of 120fps+ never tried any of that dlss it was native etc at the time you'll be fine

*edit which reminds me I need to boot it up and check out the raytracing etc and dlss in there for shigigs :p

Id do it.. 4k @ 32" isnt much clearer then 1440 @ 27 in an FPS shooter. Desktop etc obviously nicer. 32" 1440 isnt super great but still nice and you essentially turn that 3080 into a 3090ti comparatively in performance.

I haven't specifically checked but the game is absolutely buttery smooth. It's an amazing experience.

Are you guys turning vsync off or leaving on with VRR/gsync/freesync on?
