trying out the director's cut version, such a lovely looking game.
It sure is gorgeous. It's a polarising game. Personally I absolutely loved it.
that's the one alright, also love the tears in the rain easter egg (blade runner)
Haha nice, haven't seen that one yet. I'm actually blown away by CP2077. I suppose my expectations had been lowered alot but it's a bloody accomplished game. Building something of this scale whilst maintaining the level of detail in side quests and environments is no mean feat. Makes the Far Cry's of the world look like garbage. I hope it gets the comeback it deserves.
Already did get the resurgence in sales after 1.5, and I agree with your statement too. I'll post some CP2077 screens myself after I install the Xbox companion app
(xbox is basically a pc right?
yea mate, the game was stunning if you had the hardware for it, should never have come out on last-gen hardware, this game is the best looking game in a generation and I suspect for some time, ahead of it's time visually
I love some of the stuff in that game like the Batmobile and the Ramones reference for the fight club missions.
The best kinds of games, if you ask me. The worst thing a creative venture can do is aim for "mass market appeal". Passionate people making things they love (even if I personally don't like them), is better for creative output, IMHO.
It's not like we're starved for choice in gaming. If I don't (subjectively) like a specific game, I've got plenty of others to choose from.
100% I think Death Stranding is one of those games that people will look back on as "important" to the progression of games and the directions they can be taken. And it takes some balls to take such a big budget tentpole with high expectation from Sony in that direction.
I'm going way off topic here, but if you're interested in the thoughts of "big change" games from Japanese game devs, this video was excellent:
Mr Silent Hill and Mr Resident Evil chatting about their experiences, and the difference between being artistically successful and commercially successful. Great insight.
Sooooo I may have beaten a guy to death with a dildo because I thought it was non lethal and wanted him alive......
All it takes is that one extra hit when they're down.
Are you always this vigorous with your dildos?
Here we go. Carefully curated for OCAU. Anyone like cars? Cyberpunk is a racing game...right? Captured on an Xbox Series X. Performance Mode. 4k on LG C1.
I like how my dildo comment gets more likes than my screenies in the screenies thread
Ya'll a funny bunch
Haha yeah I figured out it was the coup de grace with the dildo that did it. Famous last words.
OK so I have been watching Modest Pelican and now desperately want to play these hitman games.
What's the latest on where I can get them and for the best price?
Epic Store. Currently offering the first Hitman title at an 80% discount for GOTY edition.
The Hitman Trilogy was released earlier this year, so you don't have to worry about access passes anymore.
It's also available for "free" on xbox Game Pass. Look around for a $1 trial to Game Pass if you don't already have it.
Strictly a PC gamer
Xbox Game Pass is available on Windows PC:
