VOIP with free national and local calls, 30c per minute mobile no flagfall.

Call quality is as good as landline, in fact the cordless phone is holding it back.

    There is a bit more:
    http://www.iinet.net.au/support/general/guide/freezone.html

I often use the TripleJ & Trance streams

It's also a few weeks (at least) of downtime and then counted uploads :(

Currently paying $99 a month for what is meant to be ADSL2+ with line rentail etc.

    Optus' $99 Fusion.

I want to change though as the internet doesn't seem very fast but we need to still have line rentail and free calls bundled in.

    Any suggestions?

Exetel just bumped the value of their plans.

This plan is now 12Gb/48Gb p/op (12am-12pm time slots).
I still remember the days of the bigpond cable 3Gb cap, 60Gb seems more than resonable (i struggle to use 20gb per month).

Mine should be connected next week and for $50 per month with line rental inclusive this is hard to beat in the budget market.

For comparison with the TPG plans you should also consider the extra $20 required for line rental and the restrictive offpeak time slots.

This plan wins. All other plan fails. I don't know why you're only getting 1500/256 but i get 22MB down and 1 MB up!! woot..
Use VOIP and Telstra Home Budget Plan..

Can you receive inbound calls on the adsl2+ voip plans from TPG?? From what i gather you can't

Also, TPG state that you need an active phone line. Does this mean you need to pay rental to telstra?
