    Hi all,

Hoping someone can help me out with a rather simple problem.

Is there a way to have set permissions such that an application cannot shutdown without first prompting you (regardless of what/why it is being shut down).

For example, if you have to restart your PC and MS Word and have unsaved documents, Windows will naturally try and prevent shut down. I'd like to apply this feature to a few programs that run in the background. I've been victim of accidentally closing them without noticing.

    Thanks
    Kevin

If you're compiling your own programs I'm sure there's something that can let you do that.
If they aren't your programs, you could always set the scheduler so that if the program isn't detected it's launched again.
