yeah this was my first shoot with a99 in studio
only have 1 proper piece of glass for it atm car zeiss 85mm f1.4

johnspartan the camera is really fantastic to use. i tried a d800 a cpl of weeks prior and i find the evf and usability of the a99 so much better(especially in natural light ). it strangely makes taking pics even more fun for me.

go to 1 of the sony stores and have a play with 1 as most of them have them on display now. just be aware after you look through teh evf for a whiel and get used to it its hard to return to the ovf

That is a beautiful shot Bud; subject/expression, composition, exposure, tone... all A1.

Having been a longtime skeptic of EVF technology, then having come to love it through the OM-D, I can definitely see myself treading down the Sony a99 path if the FF bug rears its head in the future.

yeah i got the FF bug for a while. THE dof is so nice with it and not to mention all the other features that the a99 inherited. i just had to wait a cpl of years for sony to release the damn thing lol
