It will fit fine, nothing different about the housing other than the switch in the back of the pump and that doesnt even protrude.

 

MCP655-B is not the Laing D5 vario.

I'm pretty sure the B stands for Basic (swiftech's non adjustable model)

LOL $97 USD shipping, what a joke. they want full price for the pump as well. Let alone 65USD just for the res lol. Man, atleast if the shipping was reasonable it would be ok

 

Laing wont sell just the motor/impeller which is why the pump is "full price".

They do sell it in both options (with and without the pump) so if you have the pump or want to source one yourself your free to do so.

And $65 USD is fair for a top quality dual bay reservoir that takes a pump, has 4 ports/2 loops, includes all the compression fittings (in BOTH sizes) and lighted LED plugs. A regular acrylic box type reservoir is $45 - $50 and it's just a box...

Sorry you guys always seem to get raped on the shipping.
