    Looks good, still not going with a DVD drive ?

    and only thing to pick :Paranoid: not that you would see it once in cabinet is to move the join on the rubber edging to the middle of a straight section, then look just like a profsional finish :D

    It'll be the only (working?) DVD player that doesn't actually play DVD's.

    dvd drive plans are on hold as i only want to put a slim line slot drive in and i have no money to spend :p spent $20 on the whole mod as had all the parts lying around.

    yeah i realised the mistake i made with the rubber edging.. after i super glued it on :p

    Great mod, very clean. :thumbup:

    Had any luck with the game pad? I would be very interested in how you set that up. I have a HTPC now, but just a small pc case... nothing works without the remote and or plugging in a KB and mouse.

    (the kids manage to lose the remote almost every day too)

    How did you get the brass standoffs to attach to the MDF? I would have thought the pitch of the standoffs' threads would be too fine to grip the MDF?

    no probs at all. just drilled a smaller hole and then screwed the stand off in. very stable and solid

    what type of cpu are u using, could not find the specs of the system in any of the posts - or maybe im just going blind? :S
