    Custom case - Yes
    Custom cables - Yes
Custom hardline watercooling - You bet

Building a way oversized case for an itx setup???? Why not

    3900x
    x570i Aorus Pro Wifi
    1080ti
ATX psu that I should really get rid of in favor of an SFX.

Parts are shipping in, now to find a shop who can fabricate, drip and bend the single metal case.

way to go...nothing beats a nice big case with heaps of room to build in but worried it will cost a small fortune

SFX is for small form factor cases, while ATX is for regular ones and since you have a big one then no reason

you may be better to get a 2nd hand large case and mod the hell out of it ( and I do have one very old one in the garage but shipping doesnt make it cost effective )

I was thinking SFX power supply, relocate 360/280mm radiator underneath the shroud with it? Retain the cooling power, lose the vertical height? I like the design a lot, but it's a lot of height for ITX maybe?

Rotate MB 270 degrees, put I/O inside the front shroud thingy (make it a bit thicker). Res beside motherboard - retain long GPU support, pocket rocket.

Yea, I think it is too tall, did a mock up.

Production cost should not be too difficult, the design I had in mind was to have it be created with 1 sheet of material, whatever it may be that I will decided on.

ACM panels would be really easy to work with without sacrificing looks.

I originally wanted to go with a 2U psu as my mate had one lying around

I really should invest in an SFX PSU, not sure what I didn't pull the trigger tbh.

Could justify spending on a custom case from ground up
    Could justify expensive wc parts
I really should get an SFX, least an SFX-L

    Ver 2 progress.

Still going to stick with the ATX PSU, the height and length of the rad makes it not really worth getting an SFX.

Took a while for me to decide how the cables and piping might run,

but so far we have an accurate flat sheet drawn and ready to get some prototypes running!

The top panel still gives me room to articulate and get a nice minimalist design on it.

Is that modular power extensions at top? That's an awesome idea, buy an extension kit and change colours at will

Should end up very tidy

    Thats a very cool idea!
and no thats not the plan, never thought of it that way tbh, something for the next build!

This one I need the custom lengths to make it neat.

The holes at the top are for the cables to individually go through.

inspiration was from the bit tech trident royal build.

Ahh gotcha - that's a bloody clever idea too. I really like the organised look of combed cables, that build in your post is very cool

Things are moving slowly for now.

Getting quotes and seeing what results i can get from shops around the act

But a bit of testing is being done on the side.

Im hoping that the 360mm can keep the 3900x and 1080ti happy
