    Really nice build.

I like the neat layout of your DAC and the Dyns are a really sweet speaker. I use Focus series in my Theatre.

Just as a point for the overal enjoyment of your system - have you considered acoustic treatment to go behind the two speakers?

YOu are going to be using them as monitors if listening at the desk so nearfield effects will be present... not an area of acoustic management I deal with a lot but you will still have primary reflections of high frequencies (?? if blinds will absorb that; glass will pass your bass but reflect mids and highs back). Acoustic panels may help improve your clarity at any rate.

I'm very aware of all the points you raise but I don't own this house, if I did I'd deck out the whole room with acoustic dampening.

Why didn't you get the 701s in that lime green, it looks fucking baller.

I supposed it doesn't fit with your suave off-white/black theme though.

The remote doesn't scratch one bit. It's really heavy and has a quality, durable finish. I was mentioning earlier I could knock a hooker out with my KBC Poker, this blows that completely out of the water.

EDIT I played BF3 with you for a while - Austrike

Looks awesome but damn it's expensive for what it is.

I'm still happy with my $15 bunnings stand

Yeah. Oh well it's the only aesthetic related hifi purchase I've made as of yet so I don't feel guilty.

Cheers Chris. BlueRavens posts always make sense. It's nice to know some people think before they press the post button on this forum.
