Some part of me wants to haul this back to a discussion about your PC, but I guess that's old news in a 50 page thread.... :p

How does the Plinius go with the Dyn's? I'm sure it's got plenty of current drive like all their gear, must be getting some nice punch from the Focuses. :D

Personally I think the stand is a bit OTT, but we all like to treat ourselves once in a while eh?
It certainly is a very shexsy lump of wood.

I've been considering the same problem of acoustic treatment in a rental property... there was a post in Audio from years ago where somone made their own bass traps/absorbers from sheets of rigid fibreglass covered in hessian or something, hang and pull down/move around as needed. Ideally you'd find some way to stand them off from the wall a little, but they'd still be pretty effective if hung flush.

Anyway it's still just an idea at this stage, but i'm looking around to try and source the right kind of rigid/semi-rigid sheets in the fairly small quantities I'd need. I'll link you up if I ever get around to making them. :)

Yea, you could go down to your local shops and steal a mannequin's head for headphone holders.

Well, I guess it looks good.
Your body will never be that aesthetic... Ever.

They were my dream headphones for ages, now they're all mine and MY GOD they sound brilliant. So very different to K701s. The only thing I miss about the K701s is the HUGE soundstage -- but these cans kick the K701s in every other regard.

Head on over to Addicted to Audio. George is possibly the ladsiest lad I've ever dealt with. They've got a showroom full of headphones and you can audition these cans and head amp there.

I do, but I've dealt with George @ A2A several times now and once top notch service is provided to me I stick with that retailer. I can't comment on Headphonic as I've never dealt with them before.

Glad to help :) Yeah giant retailer. Don't know how he fits so many products in the one place. It must be huge.
