I was in the City getting some new shoes, and I came across a protest (focus may be off in a few, I should of manual focused at f4 not f8:tongue:):

nice work mate, looks like you captured the mood well there, and it actually looks like a protest and not just a meeting of the local camera club!

    Thanks guys :)

It's funny when there are as many photographers as protesters :p
Not this time though, they were all beside me and just people that stumbled across it like myself.

Yeah, kinda blurs the line when it gets violent between recording and altering the news, the London ones all looked like the viloence was just there for hamming up to the cameras. You could have argued that without the cameras it wouldn't have been as violent, but that's more of a conversation for the pub :)

Only criticism I would have that you missed the focus in a couple of these, i.e. in no.1 and no.2 it's very obvious that the focus is behind the person in the foreground. I do imagine it wouldn't be easy to keep the focus correct in these situations where people are constantly moving around though.

Interesting isn't it...goes back to the "If a tree falls with no one around, does it make a sound?" type of thought.

Yep, as I said I was focusing at f8 when I should of been at f4. Bit unhappy with the misfocused shots, but I liked the subject enough to keep them. Maybe if I blur the bg a bit, crank up the noise and make it B+W :)
