These shots are more from my 15 day driving holiday around New Zealand. Queenstown is a great little place!

I have a few places in my house where a panoramic print would suit, so I intentionally set out to compose and crop some shots to 1:3. Here are three panorama's from a sunset and sunrise at Queenstown

    C & C welcome!

    Thanks for looking!

First shot is very haloed over the mountains.

Third shot is the best IMO, I like the fact it's a bit lighter.

I like the first one the best, it looks like something from LOTR, like actually a set, the little town looks amazing.

The third one is still nice too, great colour in the sky.

very nice set - hoping to get to NZ soon......

All 3 are very nice - the third, being lighter has a slightly greater appeal - but the others are awesome too.

Oh - and they are 3:1 crops - so thats points in my book automatically :)

Lovely shots again. The first shot with the town and the mountains as the backdrop is really nice except for the mountain halo which I find detracts from the image.

The pick of the shots for me would be the thrd shot. The colours and composition (and the clouds) to me are spot on. A truly beautiful shot. WD.
