question on Google paid storage

    As above.

    if I'm paying for storage, does Google stop "spying" on me? I know/have an impression that Google is looking at the photos/documents I uploaded as I'm on the free tier.

    edit: When i said "spying", I meant not using my data to serve me more ads or tracking my habits. I can understand google mining my data on the free tier.

    Haha doubt it, I haven't checked but I can imagine it's in their T&C's that using their service grants them some sort of right...

    If you don't want them to be able to access/see/have rights over something, better to be safe and don't put it up.

    Paid storage plans don't have any kind of different privacy policy that I'm aware of, you're just paying to increase your storage cap.

    If you have photos you wouldn't be comfortable with strangers seeing, I'd suggest keeping them offline
