Hey all tonight I thought I would cook up my fav dish Quiche Lorraine, well I thought I would make 2 different kinds, the first one is the egg, cheese and bacon one and the 2nd one was a Spinach and Fetta with Bacon Quiche.

    1. Bacon and Egg Quiche.

    5 Egg's
    400g Bacon bits
    cheese to your liking
    Salt and Pepper

    Method:

Beat the 5 egg's in a bowl and add the cheese, bacon and salt and pepper and mix all together, then pour it into your pastry case and let it cook for 30-45min at 180c (non fan forced)

Remove from ovan when golden brown on top and the kniff comes out clean from the middle of the Quiche.

    400g Bacon bits
Dutch Fetta or Greek Fetta (add as much or as little as you like :p)
    fresh Spinach
    grated cheese to your liking
    Salt and Pepper

    Method:

Beat the 5 egg's in a bowl and add the cheese, fetta, bacon, Spinach and salt and pepper and mix all together, then pour it into your pastry case and let it cook for 30-45min at 180c (non fan forced)

Remove from ovan when golden brown on top and the kniff comes out clean from the middle of the Quiche.

My father always told me that real men don't eat quiche, but I'd certainly eat your egg and bacon pie.:thumbup:

I do something similar quite regularly.

I use bacon, cheese, mushrooms, tomato, spinach etc.. and just throw a couple of sheets of puff pastry into the pie plate as a case.
