[quickhumour] Does anybody else do this??

    So you're setting up a retro PC.

    You've spent the hours getting it together, and it's time for that first power on. A mix of anticipation and trepidation. Awesome! It works! <beep> Now, into the BIOS for the initial setup.

    It's at this exact point, while you're zooming the year forwards from 200X to 2020, that it's absolutely crucial to loudly shout at your computer :

    Look at mr fancy pants 2005. My bios' are stuck in the 80's/90's. They still go to 2020 just fine though. Y2k was a lie. No, not really, but yea.

    I don't muck around with old x86 very often and I don't do the futurama quote in my head. BUT i do set the bios time with some sort of hope that the machine is stable and it's not pointless to do so.
