Here's some from todays display at Geelong waterfront. Apparently it was quite windy and they weren't happy with the display. I thought it looked great, as do the pics..

Loving the new Sigma 150-600.. Just before I left today I connected the lens up to the usb dock and there was an update to the firmware, with better panning mode, but I didn't have time to test it..

How do you know when you've got bad vertigo? You actually go dizzy when you get to a photo where they are flying upside down :D

    Nice shots, as usual

Funny you should say that. I was actually on the Cunningham Pier when I was taking most of these and I had to do a double take as I nearly went over the edge.. I still shudder.. $5k worth of gear.. gone in a shot.. Sure it's weather sealed but not ocean sealed hehe

    Cheers.. thank you

Yeap.. they were at the Shrine of rememberance at 2pm, then down to geelong at 2.35pm and I think there was a solo display somewhere near the dandenongs.. was a busy day for them..

I can imagine that it wouldn't be hard. In the shots, they look stationary, but they are whizzing by, if you weren't keeping your wits about you you could easily come a cropper.
