    Hi guys,

I have a HD6850 in my Core i5 3570 + 8GB RAM desktop. It works fine for the most part but the drivers are ancient and some games throw errors and show artifacts on it.

On ebay i can grab a $89 dollar GT1030. Yes, I'm aware the GT1030 is pretty bad value compared to the GT1050 Ti (but it costs double).

, however I'm wondering if I will actually see a downgrade in performance by getting this new card, or is it an upgrade??

I already have Ryzen 5 + GTX 1060 so it's my main PC, this one is my secondary rig that I game on while in living room.

When it comes to PC components, I'd bite the bullet and go for a 1050ti, since it's all long term investment

You can get a full sized 1050ti for $229 at mwave, or a bit less at MSY, such as the Gigabyte OC
