So is a decent chance I could overclock to 4000mhz eh? Whats a moderate overclock on timings? 1 or 2ms?
Tossing up between a few boards. It's hard going from a high end board to a mid range to get all the features I want, simple things like enough usb and sata ports.. Was thinking Asus strix z370-E but only like 4 usb I think! Any sub $400 mobo suggestions welcome. Unfortunately as much as I like Asrock the taichi is just too ugly haha.
If you check the graphs for most cheaper sticks on pcpartpicker, they have dropped a bit over the last few months.
All of the mobo manufacturers have too much inventory on current platforms as it is. I wouldn't hold my breath on the release of DDR5 just yet.
