So is a decent chance I could overclock to 4000mhz eh? Whats a moderate overclock on timings? 1 or 2ms?

Tossing up between a few boards. It's hard going from a high end board to a mid range to get all the features I want, simple things like enough usb and sata ports..

Was thinking Asus strix z370-E but only like 4 usb I think! Any sub $400 mobo suggestions welcome. Unfortunately as much as I like Asrock the taichi is just too ugly haha.

Have ram prices dropped a bit recently or is it just my imagination?

If you check the graphs for most cheaper sticks on pcpartpicker, they have dropped a bit over the last few months.

cheap DDR4 seems to be getting cheaper, almost reasonable, b-die isn't moving much though.

Saw something about hynix having the first samples recently, seems like it's going to be quite nice

All of the mobo manufacturers have too much inventory on current platforms as it is. I wouldn't hold my breath on the release of DDR5 just yet.

Got 2x4 LPX 3200 in the for sale section. It'd be perfect for someone with the same sticks already and has 2 spare slots ;)

Very foolish that amazon does not accept paypal! The best prices I"ve seen for 3466MHz ram on there shipped to Aus.
but NOT going with 3rd party provider just to have a "paypal cash card" either.

Anyone know of any good 3333+MHZ 64GB (16GBx4) kits to get for an AMZ Ryzen which is cheap?
