Agree with above. It's just some poor attempt at marketing to push their shitty overpriced peripherals.

Had thoughts it would be some kind of shitty peripheral, I don't really think Razer has any sway with the state of PC gaming

Let's be honest, Razer has nowhere near the fucking pull or dinero to fix what PC gaming's up against.

My bet is that it'll be something purely inconsequential, and no doubt highly embarrassing for PC gamers, like that Switchblade thing.

So it appears to be a
    Pure 'gaming' laptop
    but they've effectively copied the
    mac book
    with the
    chassis design
    and the
    internal battery
    .

A bit of a lackluster really, because it looks like something that'll cost as much as
    Alienware
    .

    If it wasn't for the
    SwitchBlade UI
, it'd be easily be mistaken for a
    mac book
    definitely. All the
connection ports and even the power button
    are the same.

I like the track pad being on the right side of the keyboard rather than below.

I called it, people. I fucking called it. Told you it was going to be inconsequential and embarrassing.

A fucking Mac clone aimed at PC gamers? Really? They only way this could've been worse is an HTPC that looked like an Xbox.

Apple notebooks melt you crotch at the best of times, and those're just running a web browser and maybe Garage Band. Christ, with this your nuts'll be Fukushima'd as you click on the Starcraft II icon.

They missed the point completely. What's the first non-PC gamers say about PC gaming? "It's expensive!!!" $2800 US doesn't help (which will no doubt translate into about $3500 AU.)

And Apple's probably gonna sue the shit out of them.

What would've been better than this farrago is to tackle PC gaming the way MS or Sony does: start bribing developers to dev for PCs. It's not the lack of competent, accessible hardware, far from it, but the lack of competent software.

Addendum: $2800 doesn't even get you an optical drive, apparently.
