Basically as an Australian taxpayer, I'd still like to be able to watch iview while I'm living in Estonia :weirdo:

Who can recommend a good vpn service, no need to be too full on? And hopefully not too expensive.

Come at me with your suggestions :)

    TIA

Another vote for PIA. Have had no issues, speeds are good, large variety of server locations.

Living in Estonia for a while?

I used the free trial of NordVPN while I was in Japan and it was pretty good.

I'm using NordVPN, pretty happy with it. Definitely defeats my ISP shaping.

Yeah, I use Express VPN. They are more expensive but fast and work with Netflix USA streaming content (and many others)

There are probably three worth considering, depending on your priorities:

    PIA if you want anonymity
ExpressVPN if you want US Netflix
NordVPN if you want a static IP

why use a vpn specifically? Getflix does all of the above and you can change regions to suit. Netflix is a bit patchy on devices(I can only talk about Xbox), but on PC browser is 100%

Getflix looks like a VPN service/wrapper, and costs the same?

Fair enough, that gives much better context.

Curious that they don't list Netflix as a supported Smart DNS service, and that Getflix VPN is available "free" with all paid accounts. $30usd for a lifetime VPN sounds too good to be true, but obviously you don't have to use it.

I use US Netflix and HULU and only paid $25 a few years ago for it (still got over 10,000 days of my subscription on it). Can swap regions so things like abc iView and BBC c4 can be used and swapped between at the click of a button. 100% reliable on PC, but consoles occasionally detect it and stop playing a video halfway through it.

The VPN is for DNS use only
