Looking for recommendations for freezer storage containers.

Currently use the good ol "Chinese takeaway" container, but they don't make them like the use too any more.

They are very thin and brittle.

I was looking on ebay at meal prep containers as they are deemed "reuseable".

I like the takeaway container style in either 500/750ml capacity as they stack and fit neat in my freezer - side by side so its narrow.

I'm not a meal prepper as such, but cook in bulk as I work shift work.

I havent come up with a better solution than vacsealing everything (liquid stuff and meals I freeze in whatever container first and then vacseal). Hate the use of single-use plastic, but it takes up way less room, isnt fragile, and suffers way less from freezer burn. And vacseal rolls are cheap.

Oh and reheating direct from frozen by throwing into a sous vide bath is convenient.

The Systema range is always pretty reasonable imo. Comes in plenty of sizes, and well priced when they do those half price specials. Just make sure you choose the "freezer safe" ones with the symbol on the bottom.
