elvis always out of touch, griefing goes back at least to early days of mmo's and competitive shooters

I was talking about the term more than the action

I'm still playing games from a pre-internet era. Once I've completed all of those, I'll move on to these new fangled "online games".

Not looking forward to online much TBH but hopefully am pleasantly surprised.

Still not very far into campaign, played some more tonight and just explored whole map (apart from wanted zone with $220 bounty) and doing that alone was more immersive then some actual scripted campaigns.

Such a good game, sets the bar so high.

It's a great reduction in pace. Really take the time to smell to roses, so to speak, and you'll be rewarded.

Pretty much how I thought I'd feel. The co op stuff will be good though. Such a shame autoaim is in it.

I hope it finds an audience, the SP side for me was spectacularly satisfying.

Apparently TDM etc is the weaker link but the normal MP actually is essentially a new story with co-op and its great.

Rockstar announced today that they've heard the feedback from people playing the beta and are going to re-balance the economy

I haven’t played it yet but I imagine they don’t want it to be too easy. If they make it super easy to get money people will finished it way faster then they can provide new content.

watch some vids, the economy is terrible, takes around 115ish gold bars just to upgrade your camp, some streamers were at over 30 hours into the mp with around 2 gold bars in total. 1 gun mod to change the metals costs 2-4 gold each mod.

your talking over 1000 hours of gameplay online just to upgrade your camp, without spending gold bars on anything else throughout those 1000 hours.

ive stopped playing it because of it, its pointless at that rate. oh but 1 can of baked beans costs $1.20 and reward for 1 bounty is $4-$6. its all out of wack

FYI if you logon to the beta (unless you already have) before 6pm AEST when it goes live, you will get 15 gold bars and $200
