Nice find. Will be useful when I get around to playing this game in a couple of years time.
A few pics using in built photo capture @1440p
is there like preferred settings list?
I really don't want to play another console port.
But 3 mates have it and beg me to join, i do love some MP..
I run 4k and refuse to have lower blurry ass res on my monitor so tell me, will this need to look like ass on low low settings to get 60fps in 4k? I have 1080Ti and Ryzen 3700x
If the answer is yes Rockstar can suck one.
yeah have heard this, my BIOS is only 2 months old, seems odd that it would be that. Cant really be arsed flashing it it again just for one game, they just need to fix there launcher.
Msi pushed out a beta bios today. This solved the launcher problem for me. FFS.
Look at pittsers post above that article shows difference between looks and gains. Then can find a balance as to what you like but seems reflection detail adds alot of fps with minimal loss
Gee that's a rubbish fix isn't it, its not on, Rockstar should be better than this in 2019, i wonder what the heck at a basic hardware layer is causing it.
Wow ok so you need a 2080Ti to get over 60 average fps fully maxed @ 1440p...yeah no thanks looks like that draw distance is epic but that is unplayable with my 1080 :'(
You know that settings other than Ultra do exist
Check guides above. I get like 90fps minimum and game looks stunning at 1440p with 2080ti. There is one setting that gives you 30% boost in fps with no perceivable visual loss..
It does need some tweaks though that's for sure.
See above guide is big gains and game can still look pretty.
But seriously move to 1440p 144hz it's poops on 4k 60hz in so so many ways for 27-32" monitors.
The first game where you have to consider that option on a given card is always a hard moment
Thanks for that mate.
Looks like more waiting for me. Definitely not going to achieve my usual and preferred framerate of 100fps+ @ 1440p with my current rig No biggie, I'm patient.
I average 100fps with settings based on the game debate article and looks stunning. I do have a 2080ti though
Also remember to turn off autoaim people it exists for mouse ever so slightly and quite annoying.
Looks like your a n00b? I heard in the "Barbie grows potatoes" game, t00ns were getting like 375FPS....maybe that would suit?!?
Hmm looks like we have a console peasant boys, under 60 fps fully maxed isn't acceptable for most of the pc master race.
I played this on my Xbox x on a 4K OLED at 30fps with blurry textures and low draw distances and that shitty controller.....my pc @1440p with details cranked up with a mouse/keyboard shits all over it.
edit: obviously the cost of my PC is significantly more expensive than my console but it’s my preference for gaming.
