they don't list the tree tesselation in their settings and I presume that setting to be off.

Really? Running a solid 60fps here, game behaving as it should. Cores are supposed to drain over time if you don't rest and eat..

Running well here on my old Fury with the Hardware Unboxed settings (lighting on high though). No bugs with cores or anything bar the odd extremely minor graphical glitch.

I turned off tree tessalation, in 1 scene was 20fps gained.

How do I swap my sawn off shotgun which is dual welded with a pistol? I find a pistol on floor and it has up/down arrow as key I need to press.. confusing.

Once you're hovering over the gun in the gun wheel, press Q or E.

it's better that Tree Tesselation is off cos you're not gonna notice it when in motion.

So its the higher-framerate=starvation bug actually a real thing or just noise?

Apparently the engine has an fps limit of 180 and if you hit the cap it causes issues... that's what DF dudes say!

It seems this latest update, whilst it's introduced some new bugs/crashes for me, has also increased performance. I'm running at a steady 60FPS+ at 4k with most things on ultra/high

Yeah I gained fps too with recent patch. No bugs or anything yet.

Are revolvers or pistols quicker to shoot?

What's the TL;DR version - is this game worth buying? I'm an FPS fan.

for a 3rd person open world game, the fps doesn't need to be super high. 60fps is enough.

Agree. I did the benchmark when I first got the game and the average fps I was getting was 40 with everything on either ultra or high. It's never been an issue.
