I'm running at 100fps I'll have to see if super quick core draining is too annoying. So far I do find myself eating lots haha.
OMG gameplay talk!!! Get stuck into tonics when you've got something coming up where you need a lot of stamina, so you can fortify it for a short while and not drain. Learning how to craft them is useful, although buying them is easy enough, as is finding them while looting houses and bodies.
Yeah this is a issue related to the FPS being highers than 30fps. Wonderful https://www.reddit.com/r/PCRedDead/comments/dwq5g6/red_dead_redemption_2_arthur_cores_drain_rate/
I always stashed a tonic or two for those manic battles. Nothing better than being near invulnerable in a fire fight.
Might run around and kill stuff with a bow tonight - need to get my Health XP up - Stamina and Dead Eye already maxed (also have +1 level to Dead Eye by having the Explorer Set completed) Also have all the item bags completed, but I hate the frickin big cats in this - Panther and Cougar - have been killed at least 10 times by them now... Being able to carry 99 of every item is cool, but expensive. Basically only carry cheese wedges and tinned pineapple for quick snacks and am going to hunt some bears for Big Game meat. Once I've got my Health XP up, will finish Chapter 2
I talked about game earlier. Can't work out how to swap dual wielded gun on Pc. Also what's better pistols or revolver? If this over 60fps time bug is real ill need to be fortifying alot!
Once you reach the end of Chapter 3 I believe you can buy the M1899 automatic pistols which according to what I've read are God Tier weapons. Dual wield will draw whatever 2 weapons are chosen - hold down tab, hover the mouse over each weapon and use Q/E to select each one. I tend to have a pair of Schofield revolvers (I haven't finished Chapter 3 yet, so don't have the M1899's), and I tend to use the Springfield rifle with Medium scope as my primary. That might change to the Rolling Block once I get it - will wait and see. Second back weapon is normally either the Varmint rifle (if I am hunting small stuff) or the pump action Shotgun. Will probably be the bow tonight.
Another update was released overnight. Again, it resets your settings. "BUT" if you go into your settings.xml file and change the <version value="36" /> to 37 It won't reset. You need to do this BEFORE you launch RDR2 after the patch.
For sheer joy, ensure you use a shotgun with explosive shells with dead eye at point blank range with headshots. Such gratuitous gorey fun.
A bit of info on the latest patch plus they've fixed it so it no longer resets the graphics settings AFTER this patch. https://www.techradar.com/au/news/r...tty-much-everything-thats-wrong-with-the-game
