regedit scan software?

    i remember having some free software and all it did was scan your registry, then you would have to load the data into a website(i remember the website was a .de) and it would say if people had said things where safe or risky, then you go back to your software tick the boxes you wanted it to remove from the registry

    CCleaner (which is free) does a registry scan as one of its functions & I've never had a problem with it deleting useless or unnecessary registry entries because it uses a very conservative approach to scanning the registry. You shouldn't need to edit the registry. Useless entries don't usually do any harm.

    +1 for ccleaner. You can also get winapp2.ini for ccleaner to enable more cleaning capabilities. Be sure to get the slim build from piriform so you avoid the installer adware/toolbar shit.

    It's registry cleaner is top notch, doesn't break the shell at all.
