Nice video. My biggest regret: sold my entire Nintendo DS collection. There were some gems there like Castlevanias, Zeldas, etc. Bought everything in 2010-2011 and sold in 2013 when the the system lost popularity for a very modest sum which I put towards travel expenses.

Now these games would cost around a grand combined. But hey.. These days I have an elcheapo flashcard and a DS, so if I really would like to revisit them..

ABC 1974 talking about 2001, not bad close to 100% correct.

That's Arthur C. Clarke. A very brilliant futurist, and inventor of the famous law:

"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."

Which I find a particularly apt way to understand Mac and iPhone users.

power out-ninja'ed me on the post.

I would encourage people to read some of his books and short stories, if this stuff blows your mind he had more predictions in those.

my all time favourite science fiction author, people were blown away by these predictions.

Some of us are just waiting for them (and more) to come to pass. Like Arthur, I wish I could live to see the future that we know is coming, and constantly annoyed that people keep getting in the way of it being concerned by trivial things.

Lets not forget E.E. "Doc" Smith, the shit he wrote in the 1920's and 30's Skylark and Lensman.

I have a PS4 Fallout 4 save with 6 separate story paths that are all locked due to bugs.

PC version allows console commands to "cheat" and bypass the bugs. Console version is just a big "fuck you".

Going back in time to old saves is many hours lost that I don't have time to reply. Very fucking annoying.

that blows, progression bugs are imo some of the worst bugs a game can have, that and corrupting saves. they are my big two.

Really shits me. It wasn't until I just couldn't progress with all six that I even bothered to Google it, because I was trying to avoid walk-throughs and spoilers.

So it now turns out I'm 90% or so through the game, and all story paths are blocked and I can't progress at all. Zero options for me to progress on, no matter what the story path or ending.

Left a very bad taste in my mouth, and pretty much killed me wanting to even bother with any other 3D Fallout game, given how much people rant and rave about bugs in these.

If you weren't there at the time this was impressive as hell as a sort of game demo.

Great update from MVG on the latest Xbox 360 emulator, Xenia, and it's updates.

Tonnes of games now playable, and if you stick to 2x scaling (pushing most games to 1440p), things run pretty well on a mid range gaming rig by the looks of things.

I'll try this out later in the week on my kids' gaming PCs.
