Crazy good news... or bad news depending... Fat chance of folk doing any more exercise or eating any more vegies. All the exhortation from our doctors and government over the years seems to have fallen on deaf ears.

This research seems to prove the hypothesis that eating comfort food helps you forget.

Very little detail about the actual protocol the people were required to follow other than eat more vegetables, exercise, manage stress and get good quality sleep. It almost reads like an advertisement for the MEND protocol software program that was used to tailor make a program for each participant.

Most people who get the disease are old, have trouble exercising, using utensils to eat etc...

as a person who lost a loved one to Alzheimer's, I am not convinced the study provide merit against the age group the disease targets. :Paranoid:

If you get diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers, the study shows that there may be things you can do without taking drugs that will have a very decent impact on the disease progression. From my understanding of Alzheimers, the disease is present for many years before overt symptoms shows up.
