Hey guys, Not sure if this will be the right place to ask, If not please direct me.

Ive been given a Polaris CC-77 Rear camera from the old man as he's upgraded and didnt come with anything else.

I've worked out its a 4 pin S-video mini din but I want to connect it up to my Alpine head unit (IVA-520EBT) and needs RCA.

Will these to type of video signals work together and can i buy and adapter to suit?

(Rather use this camera over a cheap ebay as its wont break after the first rain)

    Cheers
    Mitch

yes but won't be difficult as the monitor end of the cable looks to be a standard S-video plug, so get a cheap svideo extension cord to cut up

hopefully not too much interference in the video signal

I have a cheapo eBay reverse camera on my 4x4, it gets wet, muddy and I even did some water crossings and it's fine. They're not as bad as you think.
